About Kesher TJC

Born and bred in Mattersdorf, Jerusalem, Rabbi Chaim Frankel was deeply influenced by the teachings and presence of HaRav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg zt”l. He grew up breathing Torah and outreach as part of everyday life, which led to his first mentoring experience with youth-at-risk in Pardess Katz.
While serving as Oorah Community Liaison in Staten Island, NY, Rabbi Frankel delivered lectures, ran programs for public school students, and was instrumental in establishing the Little Star Jewish pre-school. Always, his teachings were imbued with the axiom, “A Jew is never alone!”
On a visit in 2018, the Frankels encountered numerous Jewish souls in South Florida searching for inspiration, a Shabbat invitation, or nothing more than Jewish company. Our people, seeking out their future. Rabbi and Leah Frankel could not ignore them.
